The Education Commission (EAC) is an advisory board to the Pastor and Principal and its membership includes parents and teachers and a liaison from the Parish Pastoral Council. The EAC meets regularly to review enrollment, the status of educational programs and initiatives and to advise the principal on policy development and other matters.
While membership on the EAC changes each year (members have staggered 3-year terms), there is generally representation of parents of students in Early Childhood, Primary, Intermediate and Middle School. Parents bring expertise in law, health care, education and more to the EAC.
To bring an issue to the committee, please send a written request to the principal ([email protected]). Your request may be assigned to a subcommittee for study. When the subcommittee has completed its review, it will present its findings and make a recommendation to the EAC regarding further action. EAC meetings are open to parishioners and school parents, with the exception of executive session.
