How does it work?
Blessed Sacrament buys from RaiseRight/Scrip and local vendors.  We pay less than the face value of the cards. The difference between what we pay and the face value you buy it for is how we make money. This is the "rebate" and it ranges from 1.5% to 20%, depending on the retailer--BSS gets half and you get half.
Example: You buy a $100 Lands' End gift card. Lands' End offers an 18% rebate. We pay $82 for this card.  We sell it to you for the face value of $100. The rebate is the $18 difference. The school keeps half ($9) and you receive a $9 credit or cash rebate.
How do I get my rebate?
Rebates are distributed in April each year. We will automatically apply the rebate to your tuition and school expenses, but can issue you a rebate check if you'd prefer.
What kind of retailers are available through RaiseRight/SCRIP?
Literally hundreds of retailers--grocery stores, gas stations, movie theaters, department stores, airlines, hotels, on-line retailers, and restaurant chains.  Most national brands offer both physical cards as well as e-cards. We add in local retailers such as Woodman's, HyVee, Culvers and Willy St Coop.
