After School Care

- Program Overview
  
  After School Care offers a balance of activities including a snack, outside recess time, indoor play, and quiet homework time. After School Care is not a "homework club." All children have a snack and recess before indoor play or homework.
  Scheduling: Daily schedules are done using sign-up genius and spots are limited to 40 children per day.
  Fees: Fees are billed via FACTS and include:
  Annual Registration Fee: $25 per child capped at $100 per family.
  Monday - Friday: $20/child (family discount offered for >1 child attending).
  Late Pick-up Fee: $25 for each 15-minute increment past 5:30. At 5:40, emergency contacts will be called to come pick up the children.
  Drop-in Fee: Excessive (more than three) "drop-ins" (unscheduled days) will be charged an additional $10 per day over the daily fee.

  Care Providers: Our care providers are typically students from UW and Edgewood.
  Registration: Our After School Care registration form is at the bottom of this page. Registration is required annually. Once you submit the form, you should see a message on your screen indicating the form as been submitted and including links to Sign-Up Genius to schedule care. You will also receive an email confirmation. Please save the email so that you have easy access to the sign-up links whenever you need them.
- Registering and Scheduling Care
  
  Scheduling Care: Use the Sign-up Genius link that we email you, open with your S-UG account (or create one if you don't already have one), select the days that you need and click submit. You can submit multiple days at one time.
  
  Cancelling Care: Whether you need to update details, or remove a scheduled day of care, it’s easy to make changes.
  If you signed up with your SignUpGenius account, log in, and look for the “Items I’ve Signed Up For” section on your dashboard.
  Click the title of the sign up, and you’ll see options to edit, swap, or delete your care dates.
  If you signed up without an account, you can return to the sign up using the link from your original invitation or the confirmation email you received after signing up. Once you open the sign up page, look for the message at the top that says: “Already signed up? You can change your sign up.”
  Click that link and follow the steps to edit your slot.
  If all else fails, call the school office at 608-233-6155.
  
  Please Note: We run the daily attendance sheets about noon. Please cancel daily care no later than noon.
  We retain the right to bill families cancelling after 12 noon.
  We retain the right to bill families an additional fee for excessive drop-in attendance.

  Scheduling
  
  You may indicate below whether your child will attend every day, certain days each week or whether your need for after care varies by the week. We will send you the scheduling link in August (or after registering if completed after August), so that you can schedule the days you need. For all options, parents may cancel a day/days of care scheduled at any time prior to noon on the day of service without charge. Excessive same-day cancellations are problematic for us, so please exercise this option judiciously. Cancellations with advance notice are generally not a problem.
