I have been blessed to teach middle school language arts and math at Blessed Sacrament since 2021. I am also professor emerita at Edgewood University, where I ran the faculty development office, supervised student teachers, and taught education and music classes for the majority of my career. Prior to that, I taught middle school in several diocesan Catholic schools, and in the Richland (Wisconsin) School District.
Blessed Sacrament fulfills my desire to fully share my faith with students. It's wonderful working in an academically rigorous school where faith formation is held in highest regard. Students receive a holistic education here, and I love being part of such an important time of growth in their young lives.
On the home front, my husband Ron and I are the parents of three adult children, and we have two sweet grandsons. We live on a farmette north of Deforest where we grow an amazing bounty of organic food. Ron and I enjoy hiking, biking, reading, and exploring history. I additionally love writing, and I'm working on a piece of historical fiction that I hope to have the students proofread soon!
