Hello! My name is Mrs. Beglinger, but your child may know me as Mrs. Begs. I have been at Blessed Sacrament since 2022. I have experience as a classroom aide, resource teacher, reading teacher, tutor, and classroom teacher. I started working as a classroom aide when our youngest started school in 2007. Being a struggling learner and someone who didn’t enjoy learning or reading, I recognized that I wanted to help kids like me recognize their strengths and show them that they can do hard things. In 2016, nineteen years after receiving my BA in Psychology from UW-Stevens Point, I returned to school and earned my teaching certification from Cardinal Stritch University. To increase my knowledge and expertise in the areas of literacy and reading, I trained in Orton-Gillingham and I received my Wisconsin Reading Teacher 316 Licence through Viterbo University. Outside of BSS, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. My husband Jonathan and I have two wonderful daughters, Madeline and Sydney. We all live and work in Madison. We have an adorable 125-pound Golden Mountain dog named Gus who loves to snuggle on the floor and read with kids during my tutoring sessions. As a family we enjoy traveling, weekends at the family cottage, weekly dinners out with Grandma or Grammy, watching TV or movies, and DIY projects at home. I feel blessed to be part of this wonderful, caring, and supportive BSS family!
