Every part of our Re/Prom raises money for Blessed Sacrament School, and the auction items and signup parties are a big piece of the fun. We’re counting on our community to help fill them. Our auction is online, so both event attendees and guests from afar can all participate in the action.
We welcome vacation homes, restaurant gift cards, sports tickets, experiences, services, handmade treasures, and anything else likely to spark a friendly bidding war. If you’d elbow someone out of the way for it, it belongs in our auction.
In addition, we also LOVE when families host sign-up parties for kids or adults! Read more about those below... if you are interested in hosting a signup party we'd love to help you brainstorm and figure out logistics.
Ready to donate an auction item?
Fill out our online form on this page, or click HERE to download the printable form. All donated items should be brought to the school (or arrange for pickup) by November 2.
Donations are tax-deductible, and every donor will be recognized on our online auction website.
Class baskets are always a crowd favorite, and we need four parents to lead the charge: one each for Early Childhood, Primary, Intermediate, and Middle School.
As coordinator, you’ll pick a basket theme (or we’ll happily help you brainstorm), send a few emails to fellow parents asking for item donations, and coordinate getting everything delivered to school. Think of it as student council, minus the campaign posters. Bonus - this is a 4 POINT volunteer opportunity, so your family's yearly volunteer obligation will be completely satisfied if you take this on. Interested? Sign up by clicking the link below.
A signup party is an event you host for BSS as part of the auction fundraiser. People signup on the online auction by buying a SLOT to attend your party. The cost to participate varies based on the party. 100% of the funds raised go to the auction. These can be family events, adult-only, or kid parties - the possibilities are endless! Some signup parties from recent years included a Valentine's Day tea party for kids, a Halloween candy beer tasting, Ukranian Easter Egg decorating class, sourdough bread making lessons, whiskey & cigar night, mountain biking lessons, Sri Lankan dinner party, Euchre or puzzle nights, a party for middle schoolers at Geeks Mania, etc.
If you're interested in hosting but looking for ideas or feedback on what might work, reach out to Carrie Casey ([email protected]) and she'll be happy to guide you! You can also reach out to Carrie once you're ready to host and she'll help you finalize all the details. It's a great way to connect with other families here in the Blessed Sacrament Community!
